As a passionate photographer and experienced traveler to Japan, I am the ideal companion for your journey. Through numerous trips across the Land of the Rising Sun, I have discovered countless outstanding photo locations. From the vibrant streets of Tokyo and Kyoto to the idyllic mountain villages of the Chubu region.
With the same passion, I have also been exploring South Korea for more than ten years, getting to know the country’s remarkable diversity: the majestic palaces of Seoul, the historic treasures of Gyeongju, and the traditional atmosphere of Jeonju. This combination of experience and enthusiasm allows me to introduce you not only to the well-known highlights, but also to hidden photographic gems.
Whether you are a beginner or more advanced, I will be by your side with guidance and practical advice to help you develop your photographic skills and capture the beauty of Japan and Korea through your lens. I am already very much looking forward to welcoming you on this journey.

Japan in Focus - New Paths
Japan in Focus – New Paths includes two independent photography journeys through Japan: one route through the west of the country and one through the north. Both trips are designed for those who have already visited the classic highlights or who wish to experience Japan away from the well-known tourist routes from the very beginning.
Instead of the usual landmarks, the focus lies on places that often only gain attention on later visits to Japan. Quiet coastlines, rural regions, smaller towns, and landscapes with a strong sense of identity.
These journeys take place without fixed dates and are arranged according to the wishes of each group, with the option to extend the itinerary if desired.
If you would like to experience Japan beyond the familiar paths, I look forward to your non-binding inquiry and a personal conversation about possible travel dates and priorities.
New Paths: North

The north of Japan reveals itself as more open, expansive, and often quieter than the rest of the country. This route leads through the regions of Tohoku and Hokkaido, with mountain landscapes, coastlines, onsen towns, and cities such as Aomori, Sendai, Hakodate, and Sapporo. Nature, climate, and light set the rhythm of the journey.
Between vast landscapes, temple sites, rural areas, and northern cities, images emerge that convey space, clarity, and character. This journey is designed for travelers who wish to experience Japan beyond the familiar imagery. Eeduced, atmospheric, and with plenty of room for personal discovery.

This journey leads through the west of Japan, a region rich in cultural depth, historic sites, and diverse landscapes. We move between temples and shrines and traditional places such as Koyasan, the Kumano region, the Tottori Sand Dunes, and small harbor towns far from the well-known routes.
The west offers a remarkable density of photographic subjects: spiritual sites, time-honored cities, gardens, onsen villages, and everyday scenes that lend themselves beautifully to visual storytelling. This route is designed for travelers who wish to experience Japan in its cultural diversity and explore it more deeply through photography.
